Photovoltaic Roofs

Utilizing the otherwise unused space on a roof for PV systems is a convenient way for industrial, commercial and residential clients to employ solar energy. PV roof applications are particularly appropriate for clients in remote locations, where grid connections are too expensive.

The type of technology to be installed largely depends on the roof structure. If the roof is structurally strong enough, conventional Si PV cells could be installed. If not, lighter thin film PV cells can be installed.
